I stopped by to check the creek status yesterday. Current/debris was unmanageable. Going to stop by shortly to check the status. May even make a fee casts if possible. The water level was dropping while I was present yesterday, so hopefully things will be good to go sooner than expected. DPJ and I need to get our fishing fix. Btw, it was a pleasure meeting Moonriver a few days back.

I went out and checked it/fished for a while this morning. Water is a few feet up and moving fairly quick. Most of the spots that are usually crowded are under water. Lots of people out fishing, nobody really catching. lot of huge gar cruising around the banks, one guy hooked a 4 footer and almost got it out of the water before it broke him off.

I could be wrong, but I think he was the guy I saw fishing just upstream of the first pipe. Got that nice hybrid.

They're in the water as somone said you got to fish for them and yes them hybrid are to be found last year the hybrid was so thick that you could snag them but that is
not the way to catch them
