yeah brother your dad was right tight lips keep tight lines! lol hey Ruff,u brought back fun memories when my dad was living....he'd be at the front of the boat,only way i'd know he caught one,i'd see ripples on the water from the front of the boat,i'd yell,whatcha doing up there? with a lil sly grin on his face,he'd pull up his basket showing me his catch.he's own lil stealth mode,lol!

I hope they charge by the rod; should be limited to only 2 - IMHO.
Yes - I also bet they were taking notes, and second guessing their efforts.

I hope they charge by the rod; should be limited to only 2 - IMHO.----snip--- Joe Pool Marina Barge pass allows you to fish two rods. Additional rods are suppose to be $2.00 each. But nobody checks the barge and many people don't even bother to pay the barge fee.

Lake Leon, out west on I20 towards Abilene,has a pay dock. $5 a day, 2 pole limit. I lived on that lake before moving here on Cedar Creek. Fun place to fish when they are spawning. But a few years back it got over run with people coming out of Ft Worth and using 7-8 rods. They were taking over the dock. The police found out they were selling the crappie in their grocery stores in Ft Worth. They were shut down pretty fast. Then it got peaceful on the crappie dock again. 
I'll be fishing until the end!
