Hey nice start buddy! Those jigs will catch fish. Your next batch will get better, then the next. Before you know it,you'll be so good people won't be able to tell yours from the big boys in the industry. I sent you the thick flash, add a couple strands to a jig to give some flash. thumb
Oops, just noticed you did to some, just not those on the vice. Keep it up!

I agree with Skip..
Stop the chenille at the hook barb, tighten the wraps a little closer, and use only the barbules from the marabou...
Your on your way to some fun times..
Thnaks for sharing...

I will tell you the best way to get better fast. I have not seen it on this site but we are all big boys and can handle it. Get in one of the jig swaps, the jigs you get look them over and pick of the best ones. Tear them down watching how they are tied and what material they use. Don't copy but tie them back your way using what material you have and use what you learn from how they tied the jigs. The first few hundred jigs let the fish judge not people.

Yes thanks for that, I've been using it now I've got my first few jigs out of the way, starting to experiment

As long as you are having fun doing it, that's all that matters.
