With the water being cold, and likely muddy, I'll be fishing jigs. Black with black. And green pumkin with green pumpkin. I will also like target water clarity transition lines with jerks and cranks. I'll use blue back chrome jerks and I'll use blue back chartreuse cranks. With the bright sun coming for a few days, the muddy water will warm quickly and I thknk bass will use it for cover along the clear water lines.

As SteezMacQueen said about colored water. For just about any waters in northeast Texas, I'd tie on a brown jig & craw, a black/blue jig with black split tail pork eel, a red or chrome/blue black Rattletrap, and a Brush Hog in black/red flake.
