If anyone has never been there, you should go. Especially in march. Went a few years ago with a good friend who lives in Cedar park. I'll never forget that place and I'm ready to go back. We kayaked up as far as we could go which seemed like miles early in the morning. On the way down we slayed the crappie. Kept our 50 to clean but caught more than that. One of the best kayak trips I've ever been on.

You can usually catch a mess on the river at night.
Have caught them on the coldest of nights and the warmest.
Just make sure to fish at night though.... thumb

Gotcha a kitchen pass didya?Glad you caught a few a little ones Kevin. roflmao You need to take a trip to Doppler cove with Zach and I to show you how to catch a big mess of real crappie.
