I've had more success with the LFT Live Magic Shad as a trailer than any other. The flat tail version.

Have you seen the new heart tail swim baits from Yamamoto? They are big, But almost perfect for a bladed jig trailer. I have also had good luck with the LFT swim baits, the swim baits from Bass Pro, they are ribbed with a paddle tail but I can't remember the name.
A guy was telling me the other day that he has had good luck in certain conditions with a zoom horny toad. I'm going to try those also, I'm going to dedicated a lot of my time fishing bladed jigs this year. In fact I'm putting a set up together just for chatterbaits. A Dobyns Champion MH, 17# floro, and I'm trying to decide on a 6:4:1 reel, probably either a Curado I or a Revo STX or Premier. I'm Still undecided on the reel.

Best I've found is either the LFT live magic shad or the LFT live magic shad boot tail. Both are good just pick you poison.

A cut down trick worm does good Zoom super fluke with the nose cut off ( gets the right wiggle) speed craw or just a regular spinnerbait trailer. All work well.
