I really like seeing other fishermans fishing pictures and Hybrid Sunfish are interesting to me so if anyone has any pictures of Hybrids or if you think it was a Hybrid but arent sure feel free to share!

Haha yeah that terminator eye is pretty wicked. Those are some sweet hybrids. Im not sure about the last one but the colors are a little different. If you dont mind me asking, do you live on Conroe?

Most of my pics are from Conroe but a couple are from private ponds.

I do not, but wish I did sometimes. A couple years ago I use to go up there about every weekend it seemed to fish in the summer. Since then I had taken a hiatus from ultralight/freshwater fishing and only fished saltwater. Been getting back into the sunfish game as of a couple weeks ago. I want to get back up to Conroe soon.

Gotcha. Ive lived on Conroe for 9 years and pulled many nice fish from here but I fish saltwater too. I love all kinds of fishing. Conroe is known for big Sunfish but I just really started getting into specifically searching and targeting Sunfish the last two years and so far my biggest out here is a 10" Redear but I catch several in the 8" and 9" range so I know sooner or later Im gonna beat that 10". Im not the best at locating them but Im gettin better!

From what I've heard 10"ers were the norm back in the day on Conroe. Still a great fishery though, just harder to come by. Closest I've come is a 9 3/4" redear. Someone posted a bluegill on the TFF awhile back he caught at Conroe and said it was like 12", looked to be legit. Bank access is pretty limited on Conroe which sucks. I've maybe fished 2 decent spots, not including Stubblefield. I hear Stubblefield is good but I've been there like twice and didn't do great and the snakes up there have pretty much scared me off lol. But I'm a bitch when it comes to them everyone that knows me gives me [censored] for it. One of my bosses recently bought a place up there that has a private neighborhood dock he said I could use so I guess I need to try that out sometime.
