If staying in Lake Fork Marina, i suggest you work the cuts there, and the docks around the corner..Ive seen guided blow out of there, I pull out a double willow at dawn, and catch slaunches right there..True story..Idle out of that SOB..Lower unit country there..

Get a Martins map and study it until you come. You sounded like a seasoned angler so look for likely pre spawn areas (creeks close to flats especislly sharp bends, secondary points inside coves, just typical pre spawn areas). That time of year, with the winter we are having, I would suspect the northern parts of the arms of the lakes will be getting on beds. That will leave you the opportunity to target more of the per spawn fish in the mid and southern ends of the lake.

You can catch a lot of fish in the spring fishing "nothing" small cuts relevant to main lake areas. As stated earlier, you don't have to fish all the popular names areas to catch fish. Though Glade and Birch should have quite a few fish and fishermen in them by then.

If you target pre spawn fish, football jig and c rig, tx rig, a rig and crank baits on your secondary points and main lake points into small cuts. Shallower throw a square bill, bladed jig, spinner bait, wacky rig and fluke.
A jig in black/blue or green pumpkin on the larger wood in the creek channels can be very good as well.

Remember the lake is 6-7' low so take that into account when studying your maps and be careful running the lake

Hope this helps a little bit

Might want to stock up on some beefier line and gear than you're used to, it truly opened up my eyes when I first went down.
