With all of this COLD weather I think April 4th would be a pretty good guess on the first Sunfish spawn. Just my two cents. 2cents

It is 24 degrees in Hurst with 3 inches of snow on the ground. I am guessing there will be no sunfish activity on Joe Pool any time soon, but I plan to check it out next Wednesday if the forecast holds.

water temps have plummeted in our area
I would tend to think we will need a good long week of sun and warm to make any species of sunny happy at this point

I notice the forecast for next week is already backing off the expected high temperatures and south wind. It may be a while yet.
