well the good thing, if their is one, is they mostly would not have been that busy any way so they mostly would not have lost that much. I do believe its better to be safe then take this big of a chance on hurting someone. I think this says a lot about Bass Champs and what is most important to get men and woman back to their families.

My question is why would you reschedule for July 11th? I know most of the people fishing this trail have put alot of time on the water the last couple of months preparing for this tournament and now with moving this tournament so far out all the preparation and money spent prefishing is thrown out the window.

Probably based on the rest of the regions events as well as the open tourneys. Not including the other big trail schedules.

What a terrible call. Didn't they send out a email and text saying they weren't going to make a decision until Friday morning at 9am? Yet they called it based on an "advisory" That came in from NWS, of all weather avenues the NWS. I don't see how waiting until Friday morning would have hurt, like BassChamps said they were going to do in the first place. What about the guys that took off of work and made reservations and paid everything in advance? I live close so it doesn't affect me but I still think about those guys that are by this premature decision. Should have done what they said they were going to do and stuck to it, if the weather was still bad at 9am then call the tournament off, no big deal. I really wonder about the rest of the year now. If on Thursday before a tournament they get a Thunderstorm Advisory for Saturday, will the tournaments still rescheduled? Safety is number one. Period. All I'm saying is that it should have been given a chance like they said they were going to do.

Good call. I could see someone's boat and truck sliding into the lake. I'm going to my sons basketball game, glad its the last one. I'm ready to get out. Hope the lake came up a little.
