Sorry to hear your news, man.
My dad was my favorite fishing partner. He passed when I was 18. Man. 28 years ago and I still miss those days. Haha. When I'm struggling catching fish I ask him to hook one on for me. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. But that way I still feel like we are wettin lines together.
I'm sure that what you guys had will never be replaced. I am also sure that he would want you to carry on with the fishing. I bet if you think of him and your good times yall had together, fishing will always be good.
Again. Hate to hear it. I know the pain.
