We leave thousands of dollars in equipment on our unlocked boat
for weigh-in, its all there when we return.

I wouldn't be to sure about that, about 10 years ago, there was a large theft at a tournament weigh in that was taking place in Arkansas. Seem several boats were hit during weigh in. Turned out to be two guys who were in the tournament, wearing tournament shirts. While everyone was watching the stage ,they were helping themselves to all the goodies. Turns out that it wasn't the first time they had done it.

I actually put mine in the back seat of my truck, and my partner watched as I put in on before going to weigh- in.

What goes around comes back around, only problem is we rarely get to see it come back around on the people who truly deserve it. Thieves are so worthless, and deserve every rotten thing that happens to them in life.

But thanks, Mr/Officer/Sergeant Trigg, for at least trying. THANK YOU for what you do!
