Heck my dog likes the dual console too.... Until I get over 70 and the boat starts to get a little squirrely so I shut it down...

My 03 Ranger 175vs takes 7' rods. Not sure what year they switched over but I would think all the 175vs boats had 7' tubes. I popped the end caps off some of the tubes and can put 7'11" rods in it now.
