Thanks Curtis for the reply.  The pond is stocked with Copper Nose Bluegill,Channel Cats,Redear,and Bass.  The pond is eight years old.  There have been plenty of Gills born in that pond for sure.

That is awesome to have a place like that to fish! The saying is if you have a healthy Bluegill pond you should have some very healthy Bass! Have you caught any nice bass there?

Thanks "Gitter" for the reply. I have caught a few Bass but not anything big. I have seen a couple of three pound fish caught.  Mike caught a 3 pound bass a couple of weeks ago.  Side Note: I have caught two very nice Channel Cats that were in the seven pound range.  GREAT FIGHT especially on ultra light tackle.
