It has it's similarities. Both Lee and I will have extra jig heads and flukes. It's pretty easy to learn.
I'd bring a med/heavy 6 1/2 - 7ft rod with 20lb line if you have it. I'll have an extra rigged up if ya don't.

Sounds like fun! I highly encourage anyone who wants to learn Twok or how to catch striped fish to go. Can't get any better than Lee, Mike and Rick to show you the ropes. Kill 'em ya'll! smile

I'll see you fellas tomorrow morning then. I've been itching to take my kayak out all winter.

I think I'm going to try to make it out there tomorrow. Need to get the kayak setup for fishing again tonight though.

Be sure to bring the rubber mallet! For real, it's needed for dead sticking.

Harbor Freight is the best place to find one

Alrighty, time and location is all set.

As a side note, I plan to get there 30 minutes early to unload and rigged up my yak. That will also give me extra time before the boaters start launching their rig.

Just want to remind everyone, if the ramp is busy. PLEASE have all your gear ready before backing down the ramp. We will help anyone just to keep the launch as quick as possible.

Also, for the early birds I will be conducting AA meeting. grin

See you guys in the morning!

If the wind is higher than forecasted you will need a drift sock.

Yea, so...

I'ma call BS on this one. I guess you could use it to knock out the fish after catching them? Nice try though!

I'll probably be early as well. I tend to get excited and wake up around 3-4AM when going fishing the next day. This will be my first time on T-wok even though it's so close to my house. I've passed it up many times on my way to fork to fish for black bass. Does T-wok have striped bass as well as hybrids?

My dog's breath smells like cat food...
