My numbers seem to stay on fine but my registration stickers are a different story. I've used hot glue and it kind of works but I'm close to losing one of them if I don't find another fix. What kind of pond boat do you have?

maybe put some good clear tape over it ? Not sure you understand how resistant to sticky materials these boats are... My Decals for my registration are now falling off, and they are well above the water line and I put them on with liberal amounts of super glue. Nothing adheres to these newer Bass Hunters at all!

Have you tried a Sharpie Permanent Marker or paint pens from Hobby Lobby?

It should take about 5 minutes once you find the aluminum. I have cutting shears and a rivet gun if you need help.

Getting ready to order a Bass Baby from directboats.com. They offer the option to purchase the padded seats that come with the EX version for an extra $80. Since the standard bass baby seats are unpadded plastic, this seems like a reasonable upgrade but I'm looking for opinions from those of you already using these boats.
My 8 year old would be comfortable on a cinder block, but I have lower back issues, so I'll strap on a tube shaped pillow for lumbar support. Are the EX padded seats pretty comfy, or do most of you replace them for something more plush?

I have the Hunter EX (good choice on the Baby Hunter BTW, in retro spect I would have gone with it over the EX) the seats are good.
But like KD said, you would be better of with one of the really nice ones if you have back issues.

I am always forgetting the boat ID card and whistle. I was thinking about cutting the belt portion off of a small fanny pack and screwing it into the back of the padded seat. Does anyone else do this for storage or something similar?
