I hate it when that happens. Sorry you lost her, FFM. A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to actually see that head-shaking. It was a 6-07 that I caught on a shaky-rigged worm in extremely clear water, just about under the boat. It's awesome to watch.

Dont be fooled DPJ, that not really that big of a bass. I just have really small hands, i mean the person holding it has really small hands.

I picked up a new PB yesterday at a small east Texas lake. Still no DD, but this 9-02 beat my 8-12 and left me eagerly but not impatiently) waiting for my first 10+. She was so full of shad that she looked (and weighed) like a pre-spawner:

Caught her shortly after 9:00 a.m; I also had a 6-10 and a 5-08 before noon, but nothing above 3 lbs after that.

What did you trick her on?

Thanks. She hit a 5" black/blue flake Senko, rigged wacky-rig weightless. I didn't think she was that big until I put her on the Boga.

Nice fish guys. Got out the other day on the big boat. Was nice to be able to not worry about if I was going to sink! Been looking at a few busters, just haven't decided to pull the trigger yet.

If anyone needs/wants an outboard, besides Dan, I'll hook ya up. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...bo#Post10368567

Im a pond hopper on Ft. Hood. We are looking to create a tournament, but havent worked out the details. Each pond can only support three or four boats so we looking to draw ponds and rotate by the hour where you fish to make it fair for everyone. Some ponds are more productive than others, so we have to incorporate the rotation into it. Tracks, yaks and jons will all be welcome. I have access to tournament quality digital scales, but will probably be ran similar to a yak tournament, since we wont have livewells. If you have any suggestions on how to run a tournament like this, Im all ears.

Those interested need to know you don't have to be in the military, but you do need a Ft. Hood Fishing Lic. that will cost you an additional $15.
