I have 2 of the H2O express rods and they are great! and they are on sale right now for $40 Not in Houston.  Went yesterday. Scored my buddy a Heavy action version for 15 bucks though. Lone straggler on the shelf. I don't have a use for a heavy though

What reel are you going to use with this 7' rod ?? What a good price on a good reel? Picked up a BPS qualifier pro for 50 bucks. I have a Mettle on a Vendetta. that was my first BC rig. Both are great reels for the money. Love the Mettle and the warranty that comes with it. The BPS is nicer fit and finish plus a magnetic brake and a higher ratio. Both a score for under a Benjamin IMO.
