I was out Sunday for a bit stuck a 6 pounder on small crank in 10 feet of water couldn't back it up though. Anyone fish the boatworld tourney that day? was wondering what won it.

Has anyone found any crappie moving into shallower water yet? I'm hoping to get out soon and see what I can find (if anything).

Fished Mon. 1 bite in 3 hours. Set hook, broke line. The Zebra's are brutal on 12lb. fluorocarbon. Check your line regularly.

Belton is tough as always. Went out Sunday for a few from about 3pm-6pm. Had one faint bite off a 15 foot point and missed about keeper 14-15 incher in some trees in the same area close to sportsman. Water temp is rising at about 52. Hopefully they thinking about Spawning and are coming in.

Tried finesse worms in deep 25-45 ft brush on main lake points today and caught em pretty darn good. Hopefully a sign things are picking up! Water temp was 54-56 by late noon that clear water warms up quick!

I went out to do some maintenance on the boat last night to blora, the lake looks sad, so shallow around the military base side. Wonder if TPW cares. They need to stop letting out so much water. I hope to get out there to fish and catch'em before i cant launch from blora anymore...

FMJ, glad to hear you caught some, at least that gives me hope. No water is being released because they are working on the dam and have been since mid December grog but your right it's looking bad for Belton. It's hard to lanch at Rogers by yourself now.

If she don't fill up a bit things are going to be pretty bad this summer. Might only be able to beach on the steeper ramps like sparta and rogers which stinks because ya need both sides of the ramp.

Anyways tryin to work an angle with the wife to get out Sunday supposed to be cloudy all day I bet they'll be biting!

Went out to Leona Park (36 long bridge) from 2:00pm to 4:30pm jigging shallow for crappie. Didn't catch anything but did see some shad in shallow water... Not sure what the water temp was.

Went to the good ole dead fish grille last night and drove over the dam. They definitely are not letting water out. The other side of the dam is empty they are doing some sort of work on it, but right after the concrete stil has some water.

If look down on the south side they have a big pipe letting water out

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
