So is it best to pay the five bucks and launch out of holiday marina at twak?? Depends on how many ppl park there. If there are 5-10 vehicles there I doubt someone would be brave enough to think they weren't being watched. I read that Christian was targeting the tree line for whisker fish. That's why I said Holiday or Clydes. If we are fishing along the dam (yep I'm coming) we can launch from the "unknown" place if we have enough vehicles. It will be a hike with your yak and possibly be a little muddy, I honestly don't know about the mud. I'll stop there Sat morning and find out. I plan on getting there about 7am. For those who don't know where the double secret launch is: Turn into Holiday off 47. Before you enter the actual marina there will be a road to your right. That will dead end to the launch. yes sir. The trees is where i wanna be! Let make that the spot! 7am is good for me.

My GF and I are in for Twak. Just curious, how for of a paddle are the trees from the launch point? For me, I usually can peddle ( I have a PA14) to the trees in 20-30 minutes depending on wind. When I have followed Christian I have found I get places faster because he's a great paddler. I ffind myself trying to keep up with him. Plan on 20-30 minutes. Welcome to the fun. It seems to be a big gathering.

I've got a Ride 135 so she isn't the fastest. I can see y'all speeding past me already. lol.
