Every time I see a fallen tree, all I think is LAYDOWN. And I slow down every time I cross a bridge over a creek. Someone said you got caught sticking you head under water and side-scanning in the bathtub.

I had to let my wife read this & told her "see I'm not crazy lotsa folks think like me" she said we're all crazy....
I see some trees that have fallen & always talk about how good it would be in the lake to hold good crappie, play with my HB's daily watchn recordings I've taken & tie a jig or two every night before going to bed.....
Can't wait to retire so I can fish like some of y'all....
Right now I need longer w-ends fer sure...

When you go to a new barge just looking for some action; breaking in a new rod. Freezing your toes off. Thinking "one may hit" but nonetheless you get skunked; everybody there skunked but they tell you the fish are there. "It a tree over there!" "It's brush right here; their holding tight." Believing them, you just wish for better days. Then you log on here and see somebody caught something today providing hope for tomorrow.
And yea, this a true story from today sadly.

silentkilla, I retired 3 years ago and fish 6 days a week for as many hours I want each day and it is nice. The best thing is going when you want and just fall end at that time of day. You know at that time, what is best shot and where to pick up at. You don't start out feeling that maybe something else would be the way.

Every time you see PVC, all you think about is condos.
I saw a place in Jacksonville today that had enough junk pipe laying around I bet you could build 1000 condos!

left my house yesterday and looked out my rear view window . saw a Christmas tree out by the street about 100 yards back behind me . did a uturn and went down there and picked it up .....drove another 150 to 200 yards down the street and there lays a better one ! drove around all day with them in the back of my pick up i did KABOOM
