I told my brother who just moved here from Augusta GA, he is in the Army stationed at Fort Hood now and his wife likes to fish also. Maybe they will join and we can all fish the championship together next year.

RESULTS OF EARLY BIRD TOURNAMENT NOV 7 2015


It was a very cool and rainy day for our Early Bird, and we are so thankful to the 22 couples who came out to fish with us. And a big Thank you to our new East Directors, Tim & Angela Brockway and our new Owners Butch & Cindy Scheppler for coming and bringing 11 of their couples. We had 7 couples with a limit of fish, even though the lake levels were way up.

1st place was won by new couple Sofia Cantu & John Bowland with 5 fish weighing in at 13.87 lbs, (Ladies, she caught all the fish) they received a check for $497.20 and Ladies Big Bass with a bass weighing 5.13 lbs and received a check for $110.00. Second place was won by my own Travis McCollough, with 5 fish weighing in at 13.08 lbs and received a check for $372.90, also he had Men�s Big Bass with a bass weighing 4.41 lbs. and received a check for $110.00. Third place was won by Ronny & Charity Anthony, with 5 fish weighing in at 11.16 lbs and received a check for $248.60. Fourth place was won by Charles Reagan, with 5 fish weighing in at 10.05 lbs and received a check for $124.30. Fifth place was won by Kael & Shelly Washburn with 5 fish weighing 10.02 lbs. Sixth place was won by Tom & JoAnn Flanary, with 5 fish weighing 9.59 lbs. Seventh place was won by Richard & Kay Buxton from SE with 5 fish weighing 8.64 lbs. Eighth place was won by Kyle & Ann Johnson, from NE with 3 fish weighing 8.41 lbs. Ninth place was won by Leonard & Jan Philipp, with 4 fish weighing 8.05 lbs. Tenth place was won by Frank & Jean Sharkey with 4 fish weighing 7.67 lbs. Wayne & Debra Anthony had 3 fish weighing 6.99 lbs. Tim & Angela Brockway (E) had 3 fish weighing 6.41 lbs. Steve & Donna Benton (NE) had 3 fish weighing 4.77 lbs. Cody & Ashley Hanna (NE) had 1 fish 2.52 lbs. James & Joyce Windham had 1 fish 2.12 lbs. Joey & Jennifer Hanna (NE) had 1 fish 1.90 lbs. Jeff Shockey (SE) had 1 fish 1.79 lbs.

Thank you all for coming and fishing Belton even with the high water levels, as you can see Belton can be fished well with high water or very low water.

We had a great time. Looking forward to 2016. Thanks Travis and Pat for getting us all together during the off season.
