Merry Christmas everyone!! Im thankful for the birth of Jesus and his death on the cross, i pray safety over everuone travelling for the next few days and that all family gatherings be full of joy!
But I just wanted to tell everyone I finally got a fish finder for my yak, as well as some waders! These winter blues won't stand a chance anymore!!
So, what did the rest of you guys and gals get?
Any user tips for the Lowrance X-4 to make it perform better right out of the box?

I got a faster computer with way more storage space. The old Sony I was using was insufficient for trying to make fishing videos. I have no doubts that you will be watching some sweet kayak fishing action here in the near future.

I got a work sharp belt sharpener. I have already been through 3 belts! Works great! I need some fish to clean!

Not exactly sure how you fish it but I'll figure it out.......... I think you're supposed to fish it on shallow flats and throw it at the fish you can spot! EDIT: Maybe it's a mobile cover device for fish to be attracted to
