I've never fished there before so this will be a learning experience for me. I have confidence in my abilities... That said, I just hope I don't get skunked lol. I'm looking forward to this event as it's new and different for me. I've almost always pre-fished, and this time I'm going in blind.

Congratulations to Bill Crowe!!! He took home the winnings today. Fishing was tough but he was able to land 2 bass that secured his success.

I wanted to thank the new people for coming out. It shows how much heart we all have to stick with it through the rain and not catching anything and still walk away in a positive mood. It wouldn't be the same if the first timers didn't come out so I greatly appreciate it.

Glad to be of service JGibb The fishing was tough. We had I think 12 people there and only 2 bass were caught in 3 hours. That's a pretty rough day.

Im glad I was able to make it out for an hour or so....had one solid bite that might just have won!! But that's why it's called fishing and not catching!!

I'm looking for idea's for the next event for location. Twin Lakes is on the list but it depends on a few factors that we are checking on. What are some other places you would like to see us consider to fish at? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Musiclife, the only reason that Rob and I talked about Twin Lakes is because those ponds tend to have warmer water than a lot of others. I was hoping that with the warmer water the fish may be a little more aggressive, but I'm waiting for confirmation before I put it out there to be voted on.
Vial Lake is at Warren Sport Complex in Frisco. It was in the voting for the last event as well. I can certainly add it again.

I'm in on the next one. Will bring my "a-game" this time too. Haha. Wish it was a Crappie tournament. I would have bagged! As it was, at least I compared favorably to everyone else. With a total weight of 0.0. Lol. Hell, even the winner said his fish wouldn't even register on his scale. Lol.

Had fun though. And it surely wasn't my first time to lose a good fish. And surely will not be my last lost fish.
