Definately hit and miss, seen some nice baskets comin out at odark 30, some good fish but lots of dinks, crazy weather patterns got em all screwed up, no consistent pattern, depth or color, just keep pitchin, only thing I noticed was not to jig, just get the bait down and slowly move bait back and forth set the hook when it gets heavy, did I metion move it slow, emphasis on slow, almost felt like you were hung in the brush most times you were and lose a jig.your covering inches and centimeters not feet, Talked to Randy and some of the regulars and they've had great days and bad days, but the only way to catch em is to be there, it will get better, I'll be back aint got no water on the Honey Hole dock, so it's off to La Mancha we go.

windy today, fished 600am-200 pm odark 03 guys didn't leave with any baskets today, very few fish caught from what I seen a handful of good ones between a large group. I only managed 1 keeper and a few small ones, but when you have to fish when you can not when you want you put up with the bad days just to be holding that rod in your hand and waitin for the thump, always next time, thats my report

It's still a little early for them to be stacked up there though. I'm busy till mid December but after that it should be a good time to give it a try. ![fish fish](/forums/images/graemlins/default/fish.gif) Fish On!!

I can tell you this, if people do not start paying then we will have a big problem. Hopefully people will respect the opportunity and do what is right.

Man that's sad that people won't pay to use the dock.. I can't believe that people don't pay their fair share now days. The selfishness of some people never ceases to amaze me.

My Brother and I tried Mancha. For the first time. Nov-2-3.. Of this year. We were impressed with the upkeep. Well run establishment. Folks at the office. Super- nice, and willing to help with Minnows. Along with allowing us to camp. There was a fire going- on at Dam area. No public access. They had a clearly marked-"Drop-Box" to pay. We thought that was great. Meet some outstanding decent on folks. Why some; cannot follow; "SIMPLE Rules" on anothers land and Dock. Is beyound me.

It is a shame that folks don't do what's right. Every time I've been to the boat dock at La Mancha I've seen guys walk out on the dock and start fishing. You never know whether they paid at the office or not. At 5am you pretty much know the office is not open so I never stop, I just use the drop box, really easy too!! Now days seems like people fear being caught doing something wrong, if they feel like they will not get caught, they do whatever they want. Ok, I'm off my soapbox, no more rant. I just hate to see a few ruin what many enjoy!! ![fish fish](/forums/images/graemlins/default/fish.gif) Fish On!!
