What do you want to know about Sam Rayburn? I have recently gotten involved with the folks from Pro Web Live with a project called Cyber Guides where anglers will be able to go on a virtual guide trip of the lake prior to making a trip. I am going to cover such topics as how to run, seasonal patterns, eliminating unproductive areas, and various other information in depth that will give an angler an edge on catching fish either for fun or in tournament scenarios. I have a pretty good idea as to some other info I am going to include but thought I would just pose this question to the TFF community since Rayburn seems to be an enigma to many. So..... What sort of info do you want to know about? http://proweblivestream.com/cyberguides.php/

i wondered how long it would take for "virtual guides" to come about. Great way to " pre-fish" a lake when you can't actually get there & a great way for an accomplished guide to supplement their on-the-lake guide income. Others have done this by selling videos about how to fish a lake, but an up to the minute virtual guide trip is an excellent idea. Just don't over price it.

Eliminating areas... thats my biggest problem I'll find fish on day. Then go back I guess when theyre not biting and I never know how long to invest in that spot.

Keep us updated on the quality of scenery during the summer around Rattlesnake Island, of course, with pictures.
Please and Thank You.

Eliminating areas is problem for me also. Rayburn's a big body of water and sometimes it's hard to find specific productive areas!

One of the first things I always want to know is where to safely run without taking out a lower unit. By knowing this, I can run around the lake faster, thus eliminating unproductive water faster.

Maybe include how the lake level would impact all your information.

Frank; Mike Smith has a great video series on how to run the lake. he breaks down most of the lake and gives waypoints for the big dangers. The videos are on U-Tube.
Now back to the topic of the thread: if it is really going to be an up-to-the-minute virtual guide trip; you need to have a 1/2 day fun version & a full day tournament version, priced accordingly. for fun include: The best 1-2-3 techniques for SR and the kind of area to use them, maybe naming a couple of the good coves and creeks that can be looked up on a map. for tournament info: include "current" conditions, techniques, lures, colors and specific GPS co-ordinates for at least 5 locations that are holding fish.
Great idea, whether or not it will be followed thru with is another story.

Nice site Skeeter443. My wife has always loved the East Texas area especially around Big Sam. May come look around at houses one day. By the way Clark, nice idea.

What's your idea of "priced accordingly"?
