Been hiking down to the Lapond banks the last couple days since the weather has gotten warmer and fishing the skinny water , results haven't been too bad.First day the fishing was good and Plano James joined me the next day and they were still biting well. The fish have seemed a little lethargic at first on the bite though hitting like channels and then all the sudden..... take down! Fishing 4-5ft of water using carp and buffalo for bait. Nice to see the Winter weather kicking in now and looking forward to seeing what this blue season brings in for everyone. Really hope we see some monsoon type weather this Winter as well and bring these lakes backup some.......

Thanks Txmedic033 ,lotsa great bankers reeling them in. Ive probably just got a bad catfishing addiction, lol. Think we all just learn alot from one another, bankers /boaters.

Dang it! I was thinking about trying to find some crappie today, but you're making me want to catfish. I'm on Tawakoni and always do well from the bank.These are from Sun. Nov. 9th in about 6 ft.
