Tom said 130# in his post but I'm sure they weighed it. I would have. That fish looks every bit of 130 doesn't it?

bobby it was steven that comes down w/me. that was 134 after being on ice 24hrs. fathom and I both looked at the fish on the deck and called 140 at the same time and before bleeding and shrinkage I think we were right live weight of 140lb.s a hoss for sure ! glad it happened for him and not to me, not sure my old rear could have made that many laps doing the tuna tango !!

Tuna Tamer got the last laugh on me for this trip... Yellow Fin 4 Vs. Bazz 0. I got my butt kicked by the Yellow Fins this trip. I guess it's karma for making fun of Bobby's misfortune in October? Lost 2 on hard baits broke leader and cut my braid and 2 on a jig broke line cut leader. One was a monster that took 100ft of line straight down right before breaking off my 80# braid, hooked on a pink jig. Caught my usual yard ton of Black Fin on jigs but only kept like 6 of 60 BFT caught. The wind was strong 40 MPH the second night made casting very tough. We did have some really big YFT schooling but they were very picky and the weather made it tough but that's fishing. Steve Nelson took pity on me and donated one of his YFT to me so I have some fresh tuna in my freezer. Thanks buddy!

Big thanks to Willie and Texas Outdoor Organizer for another excellent trip 13 years and still going strong. Many thanks to Fisherman's Wharf and The Scat Cat Crew they worked hard to keep us happy and on fish made it a very enjoyable trip. Good friends good food and great fishing is just about as good as it gets.

Gotcha Jim .... I recognized Stephen from when he came down with you last year but when Steve D. posted about the 134 lb. I thought maybe there were two bigguns caught because Stephens tuna just looked bigger than 134 to me.

How did you do?

I only got to fish the 1st nite losing 2 on the jig ,spent the rest of the trip in my bunk with a virus and sweated my rear off !

If it was mentioned above I missed it, but how was the big one caught? Chunk, jig, topwater, other??? And what reel?
