He will have it up shortly I'm sure...this is just kind of a heads up if you have never fished a tournament these are a great place to start. Thanks YAK4BASS. Sounds like the place for me to learn. How many people typically fish these tournaments?

Ok first off sorry for the delay, but finally got a moment to update the web page, it is updated and can be found here http://www.dfwfr.com/Will answer questions this way - Normally we get about 10 - 15 people per event, small crowd so if you are trying to learn it is easy to tag along with someone. - Site is updated with rules for this event, if you still have questions please send me a PM or email to dfwfr@tx.rr.com - Registration will be at the store, once you have registered you can leave to go to your location and lines in the water at 7:00am. - I have this event set for early registration, you can pre register for the event by getting with me before 11/12/2014 before 5:00 pm no exceptions here. You will be sent out the identifier on 11/15/2014 after 7:15 am. Hope this helps please send me a PM if you have questions that is what these tournaments are for to help learn the ropes.

I was planning to go duck hunting and redfish chasing down at the coast that weekend, but if that falls through I'll make this for sure. Sounds like fun.

Got a couple of PM's thought i would answer here as well.
Date is 11/15/2014 for the event, sorry for the confusion, it was late for me last night.
The registrtion and starting point is a store that is on the west end of the Dam, if you go to the web page and click on the map on events will show you where it is located. It is not part of the state park, they do not allow money events in state parks.

It should be nice and cool for this one, do not want anyone overheating. It is still on, be interesting to see how many make it out, but Jackie and I will be there.
Just to make it interesting will be giving away a couple of 2014 TFO HOW demo rods, these are not new but might as well be, used in shows etc. bought these for a good cause for sure.
The only thing that may change is weigh in, may move to Fuzzy's but trying to get a hold of manager.
Remember to preregister need to have this by Thursday night please.

How are the pictures submitted? I'm assuming most people take pictures with their cell phones right?

At weigh in I will be looking at all pictures with you
You can use a cell phone as long as the picture can be zoomed in. Let me know if you still have questions.

Not really but I wanted to check some places out. Pattern we found will not hold after this week. You have to watch out up there. Duck hunters are thick and you don't really see them until you get close because of all the camo. Just remember there are no moss cover logs on RR.

Not sure how many of you made the North Texas Kayk Trail on Ray Roberts on 3/2/2013, not sure it can be any worse than that. It was cold for sure, had to knock th ice off the guides. Think it was around 10 - 15 degress that morning. For those of you that are new, the key to keeping warm is layers, example, t shirt, long sleeve shirt, sweater, then a coat. Easy top take off layers but hard to put any on if you do not have. Keep your feet dry or you are toast. Here is a picture of Jackie that morning back at Ray Roberts trying to stay warm, was it ever cold!

That was a COLD morning!!!
Hate to miss this one, but I'm flying out of town this week and won't be back for about a week and a half.
Ya'll have fun and good luck to all!!!
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing
