OK,,,, so all the fall tournaments on Rayburn are done. The 2015 schedule doesn't crank up until ..... Well 2015, So what's the scoop for November on SR. Not secret spots, but a good starting point on baits the fish like & colors they like in late fall. What is the "go to" bait ?

Based on your prior posting history concerning Rayburn, I don't expect anyone is going to waste their time arguing with you.

you might check out fishwhisper post he got more out of this group than most. but it did not help him in his Tourney. I went and fished it for the first time. I caught nothing but dinks fishing deep structure C-rigging a Fluke in 20-40' of water. I caught a fish the deepest I ever have at 40' it was a ten incher. biggest fish was 4 lb caught in grass in the morning on top water. the bad thing as soon as the sun came out the top water bite was gone.

Wish i had some good info for you. We struggled 3 weeks ago. My partner was down there last weekend with another guy from our club & they couldn't find the keepers either. I did talk to a guy who has had some success down there in years past who said that he has not been able to find any shad in any of the creeks he's been into this fall. He thinks they might be starting to move toward the creeks this week with the cooler mornings. We will be down there Friday through Sunday for our clubs "Classic". I'm going to stick with the basic shad colors & hope for the best.

Out of the 100's of events on Rayburn, I've never seen one won with forum info. The more you listen the more lost you will be.

I've been doing some extensive investigative work for you ever since you posted this morning....I found this picture of a Rayburn guide that accidentally forgot to blur out the background and hide the lure. I think you'll do good now.

we started at the Canyons, caught several there, the wind was just to much to fight, plus it wasn't protected and my old @$$ gets cold. Went to Harvey and finished the day there. Lily pads, grass and pond weed, they were in it. Lots of fish came out of the hydrilla and ate the fluke just off the surface. My buddy threw a frog for a while and finally gave up, just don't think the conditions were right for it, sure looked good though. Had a good day, caught fish which was a bonus.

Whether it by info from friends, guides or forum. A place to start is always good.
