Its amazing to me how fishermen seem to be a family, a family of fishermen who seem to always look after each other. In 2008 my son took a 9mm in the right lung at point blank range, when I posted it on TFF hundreds of prayers flooded TFF, I took my laptop to the hospital, when he was strong enough to sit up and read, the more he looked at all the prayers sent for him the more at ease he became, and clouds and clouds of prayers did help, he survived. then last week I was having trouble locating a seat post sleeve for my boat, a TFF member who lives close told me he had a sleeve, I drove to his town to get it and he refused to take any money for it, I even offered to but his dinner and he said " I'm not hungry " its amazing to me how TFF members take care of their own.

And Centex, you nailed it. I don't know if "brotherhood" is the right word, but whatever it is, it crosses all barriers.

We do seem to bash each other on here from time to time, but when it comes down to helping each other, I promise we have many an abundance of friends from here.

There are some good folks on here. Most of the kids that grow up hunting and fishing are not the ones that end up robbing and stealing later in life.

Great post ! I've moved from KS to TN to FL and back to TN in the last 4 yrs and the fishermen and women I've met along the way have all been really nice helpful folks.

That's the good stuff right there.

We need to elect some TFF members to Washington. We would get things done so we could go Fishing!!!!!!
