If you haven't heard the South 40 Trail has announced their 2014-15 tournament locations. This is a great, growing trail with the proceeds benefiting the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo Scholarship Fund. This year the championship will be in a two day format. The locations are:

September 27, 2014 - Lake Limestone
October 25, 2014 - Lake Waco
January 2015 - Lake Belton
February 2015 - Lake Whitney
March 28-29, 2015 - Lake Waco

$3000 guaranteed 1st place The first qualifier will be on Lake Limestone, Ramp #2, September 27th. Texas Farm Bureau Insurance is our new presenting sponsor and they are offering $250 in contingency money for the winner if they have a Texas Farm Bureau Insurance policy in force at the time of the tournament.

Our traditional Friday night draw will now take place at Waco Motorsports from 5:30 to 6:30 each Friday night before the Qualifiers. Waco Motorsports will have Nitro Boats on display and staff will be on hand to answer all questions.

Fished with the folks from the South 40 today on Limestone. It was a fun tournament!! We got lucky and were the first boat out that was cool; no boat wakes to jump; awesome!!! Grace caught the only keepers we put in the boat; she had a 3.5 lber. in the first 30 minutes and followed it up with a weigher after a couple hours. I caught dinks all day even on a 9/16 oz. jig; just the way it went. It was fun, well organized, and they had food and drinks when you came to weigh-in; for FREE!!! NICE.

If y'all want to fish with some good folks, the South 40 group is exceptional!!! Thanks for a fun day!
