Wow, what a report. I have fished the lake a bunch and never heard of a day where the best 6 fish approached those weights. Some guides on some camps know tricks on how to make your fish weigh heavy as they are often compensated/tipped based on a good days fishing. Not sure if these fish were weighed with your scales or not. But, best to use your scales and you to do the weighing. If you have Boga Grips, it is even that much better. I'm not saying this happened and you may have caught 6 fish that averaged 10.5+ lbs in a SINGLE MORNING of fishing; If so, that is truly a trip of a lifetime.

Some of you guys are incredible. Just because someone does something that you haven't doesn't mean it didn't happen. Yes I've got pictures including the digital scale at weigh-in. I'm IT challenged so don't know how to get them from my 4G phone to this website. If I did post pictures the naysayers would say no way it was a 12. Not to worry, the entire trip was taped and my fishing partner, also the outfitter for the trip, is editing the "dead time" in order to have a quality dvd where you can watch the fish being caught. This will take some time since he lives in Mazatlan and his production folks are here in the US. I'll let everyone know when its available. Planning to go back in November and everyone is invited to meet us at the launch site. You can see it for yourself.
Just an ole man that loves to fish.

Take it easy Boeing, it's ok. I have never been to El Salto so idk but I have no reason to doubt you so congrats! If you can get some pics and or video that would be cool. People on this forum just expect if you post some great day then show some pics or something that's all. I know from personal experience that exact day is possible, but I did not post or put up pics( I have only posted a pic once on this forum for my new pb and unless I beat that I dont think I will post or send pics). I have had multiple days like that at a private lake here in Texas. Days like that are possible outside of California, just very very rare. You are blessed! A certified boga scale is my way to weigh them and I take it seriously from a personal standpoint so I get a new one every year or so. You are right about the pics or even videos- sometimes makes look bigger, sometimes smaller.
If the water levels are rising and high like you said then generally that means more big fish so great!

I've personally been in a boat and caught several in a stringer of 49.11 for best 5. Best 6 would have been in the 58 lb range, so I don't see how boeings claims are all that off. All weighed on Boga, but I don't have pics sorry. We just happened to be at Falcon in February 2012. It can and has been done many times..........

I do know how to send pix to another cell or email address. If anyone wants some, pm me your number or address. You can post them if you know how.

It really doesn't matter if you post the pics or not.
GREAT TRIP,,,,,GREAT JOB !!!!!
Some of us know how hard it is to catch a big fish no matter where you are, so you are dang proud of it when it happens. Super job and hope you enjoyed the adrenaline rush, that is what it is all about.

Old man that loves to fish rings true to a lot of us. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers Boeing Driver but in the past we've had guys come on here with tales of big fish only to find out the fish were caught many years prior and that something (or someone) was being sold. We never intended to be so cynical but it just seems to happen. hmmm

Two fish almost thirteen pounds is AWESOME and I'm very happy for you. I have two trips to Mexico in the next few months so I can assure you that I want more stories like yours to be told. I love going down there and not just for the fishing but the entire experience.

That's also great that you guys are doing a video. I think I'd be the only one watching my video but I'd still love to have one. We've had some great trips from south of the border.

If I can assist you in getting pictures up just let me know. jacksonbean@gmail.com

Tight lines,
Jackson

How hard is it to catch a BIG fish ??????
2014 McDonalds on FORK,,,,,,,1800 fishermen for 3 days.
1 cast a minute (Okay every 3 minutes)
20 cast per hour x 9 hours x 3 days x 1800 = 972,000 cast
45 overs caught (don't know how many were DD) just the overs
.0000463 cast resulted in a fish 24 inches or longer.
Be proud of the DD,,,,be very proud.
That's like getting a picture of Bigfoot.

Just re-looked at the results;
only 34 fish over 24 inches
only 3 fish over 10lbs.
catching a DD fish is not very easy.
Not one of the folks that caught a 24 inch over caught 2 overs in the 3 days.
GREAT JOB !!!!

So how much would it set me back for a trip for two down there to fish for 3 days? Including gratuity and airfare. Is $4000 in the neighborhood?

Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.
