Those are apparently not made anymore and I couldn't find the size I needed on eBay either

I really like my Sperry Son-r water shoes that I got at Cabelas. They aren't cheap but they are holding up better than other brands I've had.

Habit All Weather Footwear, the box says durable, comfortable, waterproof and easy to slip on. Bought my first pair a couple weeks ago at Sams for $29, like them so went back and got a second pair now $25. Got a second pair because Sams wont have them when I need to replace what I have.

My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

I've had the sane Columbia Drainmakers for three seasons now and really like them.

Fishing conditions dictate footwear. Others gave you good suggestions for conditions where good footwear is necessary so I'll take a different slant. For a large percentage of my summer fishing, my preference is to wear nothing while in the kayak. I find that my feet stay healthier the drier they can stay during the day and even the best draining shoes will keep your feet damp for some period of time. I just toss on a pair of the cheap academy water shoes when my day is limited to walking on sand and small gravel and take them off when possible - prob. 80% of my time I am able to go without footwear - even if you want to wear something in the yak, I find them the most comfortable, easiest on/off and fastest drying. YMMV depending on your conditions.

Thank you, that is a different take and one I had not thought of

I wear chacos. Incredibly durable, keep your feet dry, and easy to take on and off if you wanna be barefoot in the kayak.

I used to wear Keen sandals but I found these Adidas Climacool Boatlace Shoes at REI for $35. I really like them. They drain very well, provide good support, they keep the pebbles out, and most importantly, they don't retain odor like my Keen sandals.
