teenfisherman - I am a similar build at 6'1 and 225lbs and just recently bought the OK Prowler Big Game that you mentioned above. I went for the new Big Game II which is still well within your price range and it is awesome! The Big Game II has quite a few advantages over the regular Prowler but the biggest one is the seat. It has a frame seat that is adjustable between High/Low and has an option to flip it back to have a clear deck for standing. This would probably work for fly fishing as well (although I have never fly fished so cant really answer that)

Buy my prowler 13. 1000$ with fishfinder and all accessories. Ready for another boat or pro angler. paddling on big water just isn't for me
