I'm not that noble in spirit. I fish because I love being on the water and find that having a rod in my hand with a line in the water a perfect excuse for being lazy. People think you are being productive when you are sitting there doing absolutely nothing.  Making new friends while fishing is a bonus for me. And it is surprising how easy it is to make new friends when you are fishing. Nobody is a stranger when you are fishing.

i wish i could call all my "fishin" buds everytime i went out but they will need to make much larger phone batteries before that will work well for me
