what is the average size snook you guys catching, when is prime time? Never caught one.

Has that 5 trout limit extended North of Matagorda? Or is that is where it starts and heads South?
I got the TDW app for my phone and that is where the line is drawn, but am not sure if that is old info or not.

Not too sure about the upper coast. I try to keep myself down here as much as I can. I will say I wish I was fishing today! The weather is great, Tide is dropping, and the wind is just right... May have to drop the boat in for a bit.

Fished a bit this week and have a few photos I'll add later. One of a big jack on a snoopy pole.... Yes 6-8lb test line and a 3 foot rod....
