Drop Shot takes practice and the right water to throw it in.....example Fork, Ray Rob, Twok...summer time in 15-25FOW...drop shot will win all day....drop shot has to be in your bag of tricks!!!
To me Buzzbaits are something that I wont throw...I've given them 3-4 years and caught one fish in that time....
Twok? I really wouldn't label Tawakoni as being a premier drop shot lake...in any circumstances. Lol u fishing for whites with that drop shot LOL...I actually don't like fishing for whites/hybrids unless Black bass aren't biting. To me they are too easy to catch.

Isnt it incredible that one mans trash is another mans treasure. Buzzbait is one of my favorite baits of all time. As stated before I throw drop shots but have never had luck with them. I know one day my stubborn-ness will pay off with that though.

A-Rig. If it came down to it and it was the only way to catch fish, I think I would give up fishing. Just seems unnatural and wrong. As wrong as..._______ fill in the blank.

Twok? I really wouldn't label Tawakoni as being a premier drop shot lake...in any circumstances. Just because you don't consider it doesn't mean it isn't...i've done well there. Then again it's a confidence bait for me in the warmer months...you can catch fish on drop shot in 5ft or 30ft....I've killed with drop shot fishing docks even....it's all about confidence. Hey I'm not saying it's not possible to catch a fish here and there on a drop shot at Tawakoni. Yeah, it's possible, but in my humble opinion I believe there are better alternatives to a drop shot on Tawakoni. I didn't say anything about depth you can catch fish in on a drop shot, I already know that...kind of irrelevant. I would love to watch someone catch a LMB on a drop shot in 30ft of water on Twok ....that's not happening...I'm by no means bashing the drop shot, I love it, I just don't think "drop shot" looking at Twok. I'm sure most people can agree on that.

Right on the bank.

As far as buzz baits...I honestly think it's truly a confidence thing and also having the perfect structure in place for them. I've probably fished them in all the wrong places!!

No A-rig for me. If I am going to stoop that low, I will use a cane pole and minnows instead.

Drop shot and also a shakey head. The way I figure it, you can't be good at 20 different techniques. So somewhere, at least for me, I draw the line and go with what I think I'm good at. You're missing out on a lot of bites by not throwing a drop-shot. There are days when it's the only way to go. And, there's not a better bait for fishing vertically and catching fish "video game" style. Couldn't agree more!!! Part of the fun for me is trying new things, and also, I like catching fish. If something isn't working, I am gonna try something else, sometimes I try things that I come up with on my own and maybe one day I'll come up with something that will become a popular new technique
