I am trying to organize my peg board tackle board. Can some of you that utilize peg boards post pics here? I often buy boat loads of stuff when it is on close out, etc. which leaves tons of bags to organize. I have enough Zoom lizards I bought in the 90s (for 88 cents) to fish forever I think.

I have it in my cave in the back of the shop; but no pics.. It is easy. Put pegboard on every wall. You cannot have enough. Get on line to order the holders. You will go broke buying locally. - Start as high as you can reach and make a line of peg holder all the way to the floor. - Put each color on a peg. It is important to have them all boxed up by colors so you install the right amount of pegs, one for each color. - Lizards in one row or two. - Brush hogs in another. - 10" worms in another and etc.
** I have one section for creature baits. ** One for worms ** One for lizards ** One for flukes ** One for frogs ** one for swim baits AND ETC.
Don't over thank it just have them all organized before you start hanging so you do not have to go back and do it over because you don't have enough room. Count the colors count the spaces and hang the baits. I purchase the 8 inch pegs to get about 10 packages on each peg.

Thanks. Mine is in the garage. Do I need to keep spinnerbaits and lures with skirts in a temperature controlled environment vs on the pegboard? I had been keeping them all inside the house but it is hard to know what you have. Thanks again. I will post a pic when I get it all organized.

For spinner baits; I use the page binders from BPS. They have the 4 compartment and 2 compartment replacement pages. Each binder page has 2 holes at the top to hang them. I use living rubber skirts so I want them as air tight as possible and with baby powder on each of them while being stored.
This is also a good idea on all silicone skirted baits; keep them air tight but in the binders you can see them and hang them. You will enjoy the binder system for spinner baits and jigs, just to restock on each fishing trip depending on the lake you are fishing. This is a much better system than the square plastic boxes. Keeping the air off the skirts along with removing soft plastic trailers and hand tieing your skirts is the secret to a long lived spinner bait skirt. Get rid of the rubber skirt rings they melt and fall off.
Once a year I will put a few drops of my Minnow or Night Crawler Extract in all my soft plastic packages to keep them fresh and ready to go.

Nice layout Brett but those rods in the corner need to be used. I nominate me to test them for you.
As for the baits when are you having a garage sale?

I would be so busted if my wife could actually visualize all my fishing stuff in one organized place. Hats off to you guys for an understanding wife or girlfriend.
