I will be on Cedar Creek Lake fishing the Budlight championship. Hopefully the fishing gods will be on our side. Boy has it been a rough summer on that lake. But fish or no fish I will take the cooler weather. Watch out for teal hunters!!!

Might hit Bridgeport tommorrow to see if this weather has the smallmouth fired up. I'm hoping to get my first one over 2lbs this weekend.

Fished Cypress today after the storm blew over. Water temp dropped 7 degrees, and they were chewing!

I'm fishing Alvarado for a tourney...it's a relatively shallow lake so fish shouldn't be effected too much....we'll see
There's a tournament on Alvarado??

Boy it was cold, windy, and rainy. Lake water felt nice at 80 degrees. The fog was crazy too. Only caught a small 1.5 lber. Hopefully it's better tomorrow.

Really enjoyed this morning. Got my line wet before dawn at 6:30am, and fished until 10:30am. Caught 5 LMB ranging from 2 - 3 lbs. I wouldn't say the cold front did much for my fishing this morning, but the fish I did catch we're REALLY angry about being caught, so they seemed more active from that standpoint.
Interesting conditions: cold, gray, and the rain was more mist than anything, but blew hard with those 13 mph. winds across the water. Also, the fish and moss I was pulling out of the lake was really warm compared to the surface temps. I don't think there's been a lot of chance for the water to cool down yet. The lake was actually steaming, with the steam rising from the lake surface.
I had a great time out there today. Hope everyone gets out to enjoy it.

Very interesting point Scott. I noticed the same thing. That moss was still warm. Just didn't put 2 and 2 together until you said it!!
