Most likely we will have a shot at reef/rig fish during the day. There's always something hungry down in 200'(even in 6000' of water) With AJ season closed I don't envision a lot of bottom fishing for these trips. And if we go to Perdido we're fixin to find out how good the daytime YFT fishing really is.

What's the minimum for a true greenhorn out there?
I own zero tackle but my brother does this from time to time.
I have a chunk & jigging set up you're welcome to use. Get some Williamson Benthos 7oz & 9oz Pink and some in Chartreuse Glo colors also a few 10oz Diamond Jigs. If you want to try a Topwater popper I have some you can use.

Last good Day Bite for me was Cinco when we caught some off the Sargasso grass beds out at Hoover/ Dianna that were crashing on squid and Baby Dorado. Skeeter Ronnie got his limit on an Orange & Yellow Tuna Hunter popper. That was an awesome bite but it was hard to cast and not get fouled up in the weeds.

Both spots on the October 17th-19th, 2014 TFF Trece Tuna Charter have been sold pending funds.
Upon receipt of these funds this charter will once again be full at 24.

Welcome Aboard and yeah since most of are well over 40 and a few of us at or just past 60 we cater to older gents just fine. Just watch out for that Formely Awesum / Tunatamer dude  ... he ain't quite rite.
