Traded the ram in on this Tundra. I've already bought a 6 inch lift and tires/wheels but I've been reading about a lot of tundras having vsc issues when lifted. May chicken out and put it all up for sale and drive my first stock truck for a few years. 20 years of owning pickups and all of them have been lifted. Grrrrr. Had I known about that I would have bought another ram or ford.

Get on the internet and go to tundra talk forum....lots of lifted trucks on there...mine is not lifted but I am betting you arent going to have any issues.

Went to tundra talk, that's where I found out about all the issues. I may have found a way around it. I can buy a re manufactured steering rack from 07-09 for 530 bucks and have the shop install it when they lift it for very little extra money. In 10 is when Toyota swapped rack manufacturers and since that time they have blown stock and lifted by the thousands, some blowing 2-3 times before even hitting 10k miles. Ridiculous.

Ok screw it it's going in the shop in the morning to get lifted, I'll post after pictures Wednesday. If it pops the steering rack I'll just buy a reman'd rack from an 07-09 and have it out in and not worry about it.
