Myself and Robert "Dafanman" headed out before sunrise and fished a local Bluegill Spot. We got there right at day break and fished until 10am. The bite was on fire. We caught about 40 nice Copernose Bluegill in the 7 to 8 inch range and 15 nice Redear in the 8 to 9 inch range. The pond is a little low and could use a super dose of rain. Fish were caught using worms with float techniques. All fish were released to fight again. We left em biting at the pond and we then headed to the Blanco River and fished a spot there. We caught a few small Bluegill and a couple of Longear and decided to call it a day before it got to hot. We ended the trip with a super breakfast at the Hacienda El Charro Mexican Restaurant located in downtown Blanco. Starting the week catching some gills. It just don't get any better!
