Agree, Moon was a good fisherman long before he picked up a fly rod. I still think it's the new hat though, LOL!!

I need your advise:
Can I use regular braided fishing line as fly line backing? The reason I ask is that I have lots 20#, 30#, 40# braided fishing line, want to use them as backing, instead to spend extra $20 for backing. Thanks.
