Yeah... If you are from Texas and you don't have an Oklahoma license, you get the Texoma Stamp added to your Texas license and you're good to go. Many people think you have to be at a license vendor near Texoma itself but in fact you can get the stamp at any place that sells licenses including any walmart or academy in any part of the state...
Pretty sure it's good until the end of the calendar year in which it's been purchased.

Would it be the year or whenever the license would expire?

good through december 31st. alsoif for some reason someone dont have a license from either state a texoma stamp is all you need. i take family to tecoma every year and they font have a texas fishing license. do really it is a license to gish the lake. alotof people think they mist hold an oklahoma or texas fishing license. not that it matters much for this tourney just thought i would throw that out there.

I'm in for stripes. Can you enter the big bass pot without entering the bass tourney? I caught a bass once...

You don't have to be in the black bass tourney to win big fish lmb, you just have to be entered in the big fish pot for lmb. You could also enter the smallmouth big fish pot separate from the striper category. Flip side, a guy could be in the best 5 black bass tourney and also be in the big fish striper pot.

The tourney above appears to be both a striper and black bass tourney. I found them on FB and have asked what kind of turnout they expect and if they all launch at HP or if it is roadrunner style. I have seen bass tourneys on Texoma with well over 100 boats and the lake is not a good place to be when that happens.
