My only concern is that it is not biodegradable like brush piles. Although a great looking structure, just worry about the long term effects. No chemicals in those pipes I hope.

And here come the tree huggers... Come on fellas, What if this Stucture is in an area without any cover, the fish yield increases, in my opinion the stuff 90% of what we are talking about won't hurt anything, in a couple years most is buried in silt never to bee seen again.

I've learned to make sure not to leave any place them thos lil minnows can swim around and snag you up.

I have a little different design than both of you all, and I think it takes care of the issue of getting snagged, also allows room for baitfish to have holes to enter into and out of. I will post the picture when I get back to town tomorrow. This is a pretty innovative technique, and here I was thinking i was some kind of genius! haha.

I didn't get a chance this weekend to build any. My neighbor had a ton of brush he cut down, and I wasn't quick enough to get my share for making brush piles.

I wanted to come up with something you could carry easy to the lake in your boat and put it together there and drop it. Kinda like a kit of some kind , then snap it together and drop.

These look good though.
