Just count it down to desired depth On a serious note, I can't catch suspended fish either tried for several hours Monday and gave up threw the tackle box at them. Would like to see what people recommend.

You threw a jig and spoon--two things I would have tried first also. I would have also thrown drop shot and crig.

They look a little too big to be sandies. Read Eric Wright's latest report for catching suspended bass at Fork.

Flutter spoon and jig were what I would've thrown, but I also would've tried a scrounger head with a fluke on it, crankbait, drop shot, jigging spoon in case the baitfish were small, a rattle trap, spinnerbait in red & white, swimbait or an A-Rig. Those are all good baits to consider

Fish head spin with a swimbait. This. Or my secret weapon is a white ice weightless fluke. Itll take forever to sink down there but it has been my best option for suspended fish.
