Thanks "Moon River" and "Dfitz" for the replies. cheers "Moon River": By placing the thumb in the mouth of the fish and your index finger slightly on the back of the fishes gill helps control the fish. hmmm A Rio is really hard to handle after the catch especially if you want to photograph em. taz They will fight you all the way to the release or to the ice chest. duel

Those are some HUGE FISH! Good job Chuck! woot I picked up a few nice ones fishing the Cibolo last week. They are holding close to shore next to brush piles. eeks





Side Note: Trying to talk Jeff into some Kayak fishing on the San Marcus River. Have you fished it recently? hmmm

Thanks Curtis! cheers I have not fished the San Marcus this year. I did receive some current reports that the fishing was hit and miss between San Marcus and Lulling. hmmm Early morning bite is the best. eeks

Thanks for the information Chuck. The way my work schedule has been I will probably not get the time to fish the San Marcus anymore this year. Got your PM and will be hitting the local Rio spots soon.
