One thing I Like about the east is the teamwork and support that individuals get.

Can one person not fishing the teams division do big bass pot only? Yes I do believe so. If you don't have a partner, or just want to hang out with everyone and not compete, i do believe you can throw in for big bass. Just like the individual events. I'm not 100% sure on that. Nathan would have the right answer. But I'm pretty sure you can. That being said, if you would like to compete, but don't have a partner, there is a partner finder on the website under the Teams sections on the home page. You can use that to find a partner or you can post on here about finding one.

Can one person not fishing the teams division do big bass pot only? Yeah if you don't have a team mate go ahead and come on out and fish for the big bass pot if you want! We don't discriminate!

We will see who comes out on top at the end of the year anyways. and FYI if history is to repeat itself it has never been the year's top angler.

This section of the river is really starting to HEAT UP. Expect to see some big numbers at this team event fish wise. If you havent already PLEASE RSVP on the website! Makes the check in in the mornings soooo much easier. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there.
REGARDING BOUNDARIES: The boundaries for this tournament will be from (using the parking lot meeting location as reference) The spillway to the right(but NOT below it) all the way to the 199 bridge on the left for the "west fork" of the river and then all the way to the spillway past the last bridge which is Lancaster (the "clear fork" section). This opens up a whole new territory for everyone to fish and since I expect this to be like the other teams tournaments with 20+ people showing up the extra space will be much appreciated by everyone!

After talking with a fellow BassGrabber there was discussion of why the boundary has never been extended past the spillway on the right. For me its mainly because that section is hard to draw a defining boundary line and also from having not fished that section much I am unsure of the bank conditions on that side (like if it gets mowed regularly, etc.) I will say though that if the majority wants me to extend boundaries past the spillway I am open to it. I will just have to figure out how to make a defining boundary line with a landmark of some sort. I would also have to shorten the distance that could be fished to left (railroad bridge to 199 bridge) and make that boundary be the railroad bridge and thats it. Let me know what you guys think about that!

FYI I just checked the Panther Island event list and Oktoberfest will be going on from the 25-27th. The event starts at 11am Saturday which could cause some problems if you are having to walk around the event festivities. We could either start at 6 and fish in the dark for awhile or leave it be and deal with all the stuff going on for an hour from 11-12. Y'alls call on that one.
