You have to admit my guess prior to the pic was pretty impressive even though slightly off. Congrats to the winners! That's some very cool work you're doing down there Gary! I always dreamed about building the perfect bass lake growing up and your place blows anything I dreamed up away! Best of luck.

I agree with others that stated they learned a lot from your contest. It was well conceived and executed. I also think it reflects MUCH about you as a person. You combined your love of pushing the known limits of wildlife biology with educating others, which is a win-win for both sides.

I also applaud you for even initiating this contest. After the barrage of criticism you received over the past few days, a lesser man would have wilted and retreated from the pressure. But not you, which I believe provides an excellent reflection of your character.

I look forward to future reports on your projects. Please do not be a stranger to the TFF.

Hey Dudley this is Gary. My work days are crazy busy and start at 7. I will get with you later tonight to answer these questions, and will do most of them here so everyone else who participated on the forum can feel a part of it and vicariously enjoy your win. By the way, last Friday, a San Antonio Express writer (Joe Cook) wrote an on-line story about my partnering
with the State, and it was nicely done. A very significant National media outlet has called and may do a story, but in addition, one of the newspaper editors there at the magazine liked it so much, he called the writer over the weekend and told him he wanted to run it in the paper...today's Monday edition...front page!

My phone has been blowing up this morning from people who are reading it, and my staff is threatening to lock up my phone and IPAD!
